Replace Air Conditioner with Solar Cooling

Reduce Energy Costs for Air Conditioning using Solar Cooling

How Solar Air Heating and Cooling Works

Solar Air Heater, Solar Air Cooler

SolarVenti was originally designed to address problems such as mould, dampness, mustiness and general poor air quality associated with lack of ventilation. However, the Solar Air Collectors from SolarVenti have also proved themselves to be very effective for heat contribution during the colder parts of the year. Not only do the solar collectors contribute directly towards the heating by adding up to 35 degrees  to the outside ambient temperature on cold sunny days, you will also find that the fresh dry air supplied by the solar air heater reduces the amount of moisture accumulated in the house. Your solar air heater will help make the house feel warmer and will increase the efficiency of any other heat sources.

In summary, our solar collectors or solar air heaters help reduce your heating bills in 3 different ways: direct heat contribution, increased impact of other heat sources and by reducing the comfort temperature.

Solar Air Cooling,  Solar Air Conditioning

The Solar Whiz acts as a natural solar ventilation  system which will help reduce the temperature in normally very warm areas. The technique is to use the SolarVenti products for heat extraction.   The SolarWhiz is a Solar Powered Heat Extraction Fan, which could save you many hundred of dollars every year, by reducing the temperature in your roof space and increasing the efficiency of your ducted evaporative cooling or air conditioning system thereby reducing the cooling cost on the whole building. It also works as a cooling system by using the highly effective solar exhaust fan to extract heat from your roof, attic or particularly warm rooms resulting in a cooler home and more comfortable indoor summer temperatures.

The SolarVenti In Ground Cooling System (IGC) ventilates your home or office with fresh pre-cooled air. The principle is simple, fresh ambient air is pulled through pipes buried in the ground by a solar powered fan (normally, but not necessarily  integrated with the controller for our solar air heater) to supply cool air for a healthy and comfortable indoor climate. The IGC is not an air conditioner, but is capable of supplying about 21 degrees cool air into your building on 35 degree days!
